Every cent is counted exactly
Amounts are stored and calculated in integer cents, so nothing is rounded along the way. Totals are always recalculated on our server, and a total sent from a browser is never trusted.
Your business's data stays yours
Every record belongs to one business, and your membership is checked on every request. Access is never inferred from an ID a browser happens to send.
Passwords are never stored in plain text
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt before they're saved. We can't read yours, and neither could anyone who gained access to the database.
Uploaded files are verified before they're stored
Receipts and attachments are validated by what's actually inside the file and capped in size. They're served only through an authorization check, and there's no public link to them.
